Scott is Special Counsel at the International Aerospace Law & Policy Group, previous director of the Space Law Council of Australia and New Zealand and current member of the International Institute of Space Law. For several years Scott led the regulatory team at an Australian launch services company where he obtained the country’s first commercial space launch licenses. Beyond his achievements in law reform and writing on the benefits of space, Scott teaches law and economics to undergraduates and MBA students across a number of universities.
Scott's approach to space law and economics draws from lessons in natural rights with an emphasis that voluntary human interactions offer the most benefit to communities. The common underlying goals of peace, freedom and human cooperation are what guided Scott to embracing and advocating for the Live and Let Live Movement.
