The Founding Story

In 2019, during a conversation under a starlit Arizona sky between longtime friends Marc J. Victor and Dr. Rick Fisher, the idea for the Live and Let Live Global Peace Movement was born. The vision: to unite the reasonable people of the world around two principles that can end the age-old cycle of groups trying to impose their will on each other. To reinvigorate the ancient idea that all human beings are free and that we should treat each other excellently.

Marc is the author of “The Live and Let Live Philosophy: How We Can Achieve Global Freedom, Peace, and Prosperity by Consistently Applying Two Fundamental Principles.

“I’ve spent my career watching the justice system deal with people who aggress against others. I’ve also watched governments aggress against peaceful people. The solution is the same in both cases: clearly define aggression, prohibit it universally, and let people live their lives in peace.”

Guided by Principle, Not Personality

The Live and Let Live Global Peace Movement is guided by a council of individuals committed to the principles—not to any single leader. We believe movements built on personalities fail when the personality fades. Movements built on principles endure.

Since childhood, I have always been fascinated by systems. It started with languages, and extended to psychology, economics and philosophy. Now I am challenging my mind with some of the most practical and precise systems known to man — programming languages.

I love to learn new things and continuously find new ways to challenge myself. Currently my main professional interests lie in creating working backends in Node.js and learning about blockchain. I am developing my skills with the same passion and strive for perfection I have for every other system-related activity — from board games to Japanese tea ceremony.

Pursuing self-mastery is one of the main themes of my life. My friends often describe me as one of the most development-oriented people they know. I certainly used to struggle with perfectionism, but I have overcome my fear of mistakes and learned to get things done effectively.

Thousands Strong.
Growing Every Day.
